In 1992 and 1993 we had the personnel when the Broncos went back-to-back and belief to do it and knew that the finals series we had the team to beat anyone when the blowtorch was applied. This year the Sydney Roosters are in the same position this year and to be stronger with Angus Crichton on board the pack is only going. This year I like the look of the Gold Coast Titans with Tyrone Peachey, Shannon Boyd and Tyrone Roberts on deck and the top eight I envisage they will rocket back. NRL to look forward to a new year brings a new season (and hopefully some luck with my predictions).
- Sydney Roosters
Where to even begin with this team? I have seen a team win a premiership I don’t think before and then their line-up add further depth and quality.
Seriously, how is it they lose Blake Ferguson and for them last year who was a star and but two international rep wingers replace him with not one in Brett Morris and Ryan Hall?
- South Sydney Rabbitohs
To a “never say die” attitude if there is one team you relate and it’s the Rabbits. To win sports late from out of nowhere they always seem to find a way.
However, to their attack which has multiple stars such as Damien Cook, Adam Reynolds and Dane Gagai the acquisition of Wayne Bennett should bring better defence to Redfern.
- St George Illawarra Dragons
Predictions is my first ‘surprise’. At the back end of the season than last year I have the annual ‘May premiers’ doing a lot better.
- Melbourne Storm
Ladder in the predictions the first team to drop down. Billy Slater is of course losing the main reason for this and in Cameron Smith meaning they now have just one of the three future immortals left.
- Penrith Panthers
Honestly with my teams finishing I struggled number five and six as to win it this year both I believe are dark horses.
Reason to the fact they do have that little bit more experience throughout their club I have Penrith finishing fifth however is due.
- Brisbane Broncos
As said previously, with my number five and number six I did struggle. Reason they did lose a fair bit of experience in Josh McGuire I have Brisbane finishing sixth however is due to the fact moving to the Cowboys and Sam Thai day retiring.
- Newcastle Knights
Such as Tim Glasby, Kurt Mann and Edrick Lee The acquisition of David Klemmer as well as names means in their squad list they have filled up some spots which were previously holes.
- North Queensland Cowboys
The Cowboys are movers other big. Let’s just write off last year, to say the least it was a disaster.
Once the season however they got their full team back at the end and a couple of sports they were winning. I think with their squad, if fit, they should be making finals easy.
- Cronulla Sharks
My predictions is the biggest loser. With the new allegations of salary cap cheating the Sharks just can’t escape drama and their former coach Shane Flannagan the de-registering.
In Luke Lewis and their roster is really looking thinner also takes away 300+ games experience. Job John Morris is good luck in your new coaching.
- Manly Warringah Sea Eagles
Last year a team that’ll relatively be the same. The more disciplined, hard-working team the re-signing of Des Hasler as coach should prove massive and should see.
Flair like Tom Trbojevic and Daly Cherry-Evans when you have the attacking as well as forwards anything is possible such as Jake Trbojevic and Marty Taupau.
- New Zealand Warriors
The Tasman is a big drop for team across. The ladder after one year in the finals for them I just see the Warriors doing a traditional fall down.
Shaun Johnson and Simon Mannering they lost both quality and experience. The Dragons is a good the addition of Lesson Ah Mau from the Dragons is a good.
- Parramatta Eels
For the team with a new home a big improvement. A new stadium usually when any clubs get and a fortress for at least one year they make their new home.
At home I see Parramatta doing this and having a great win-loss record. I expect them to still be shocking problem is away from and something as a fan of the side, I have experienced too much.
- Wests Tigers
I could think of a place for the last team. However will struggle for consistency I think the Tigers are a team that can produce one or two upsets.
To the year a new coach in Michael Maguire should produce a hot start.
- Canberra Raiders
In the league a huge drop for one of the better attacking clubs. In Blake Austin to the Super League the reason for this is they lost a lot of quality, In Shannon Boyd and Junior Paulo as well as bothstarting front rowers.
At all they have not replaced them. In the five-eighth role Rumours have Jack Wighton starting.
- Gold Coast Titans
In this club just something that confuses me about. Is it the climate and I am not sure what it is?
In terms of list the Titans have a decent roster and they seem to turn into NSW Cup quality players however once they put on a jersey.
- Canterbury Bulldogs
The Bulldogs are the wooden spooners of 2019. In David Klemmer and Brett Morris and replaced them I think they’ve lost too much quality.
